this illustrations are made for an card game- coming out Christmas.

the void fleet plays an special role in the game. their ships are build around and into asteroids. an mysterious race living in the depths of space...

Hehe, these almost look like mechanical sea creatures - like crab/squid hybrids. Using asteroids as part of the ship is pretty neat and you do a good job of illustrating how this might look.

he- many thanks Jared !! glad you like them. this ships are going to play an special role in the game. i´m almost finished with this series- took a looong time to paint all this ships but i´m overall happy with the result and with what i have learned during the process.admittedly i´m kind of tired too.

thanks alot,glad you enjoy the concept ! and yes- they have something organical about them- and i would imagine that some parts might have some bio-engineering to it.the race that build this ships is master in recycling.enemy technology for example - they are radical religious fanatics. the kind that mutilates them selfs to worship their dark god.kind of intelligent space zombies or something.
