Interesting picture! I can see these two working together, I can see them as total strangers having just met there at the little creek, and I can also see them as enemies.
I like the outfit the girl is wearing - the tattered cloth is something I'm always fond of! Adventurers with pristine clothing just aren't trying hard enough. And the creature has quite an odd body style. It looks almost like a barrel with appendages sticking out. And talk about a large knife! Wow. That is one helluva cleaver!
many thanks! its true that the story between this two character is an mystery -i did separated pencil sketches and just put them together, without finding a way to really connect them.but somehow it looks intriguing-i agree. i think i could have given some better textures on the cloth though.
"Give me all your loot! I'm the vicioustest goblin in these swamps, rarr!"
Pathfinder: *Speaking in friendly manner*
"Calm down little fella, taste some of my delicious cookies"
"OK then, it's your lucky day. But you'd better not try to trick me!"
*slowly tasting the cookie*
"SPICY!!!! AARGH! I CANNOT EATS SPICY"
*running away in terror, gasping for air*
Well what can I say, I will probably never succeed as a screenwriter. I gave it my best shot though. Cool picture man. I like that she has a mana potion on her belt, but something about her face bothers me. I think it'd work better if she was looking at the goblin, not into ground? Painting skin can be a pain sometimes, too. Take care.
hehe, thats actually quite good !cool that the images inspired you!i imagine the goblin running away with his arms like that and spitting pieces of cookies... and you are right- there is some lack of connection between them- maybe because i made this painting out of two separate pencil sketches, just slammed them together in one picture... thank you so much for your little story!!! very appreciated!!
