here is my second rendering of the "baltic sea anomaly". a close up. it is inspired by the famous sonar images that the ocean explorer team published. nobody knows what it is.it is an U.S.O (unknown submersed object) i tried to reflect that somehow in this image by making it not obvious. similar to my first image about the anomaly ([link]) even if it might be inclined to suggest the "ufo crash-theory".
it could be an spacecraft, crashed into the baltic sea thousands of years ago, ancient architecture, some kind of forgotten shield of the gods or simply an oddly shaped stone.
the speculation that the anomaly is an "crashed ufo" is growing ,specially after of the recent coverage on CNN. in almost all articles you find around the web and reports on tv it is compared to the millennium-falcon,because of its similar shape. (i know- star wars purists say it´s the "ebon hawk"... )
of course the ocean explorer team keeps the coordinates secret, until the expedition (called "Operation Baltic Discovery 2012) which is probably going to take place in May. they are simply waiting for better weather.
meanwhile i´m having fun illustrating the unknown, supporting the ocean explorer team on the way.
as a base for my painting i used an 3d-rendering of the object, made by my brother.but it ended up completely over-painted,buried under several layers of photo-textures.some from cgtextures [link]
me and my bro also work on an little 3d animation and more paintings about the anomaly.... stay tuned.
you can check out the Ocean Explorer website for more info on this : [link]
Great stuff!! Still stuff going on about the Baltic USO - though if its real I doubt we'll know the truth of it. (Last footage I saw was a bunch of rocks in a ring on the sea floor which look nothing like the initial scan.
it is real- and we will know the truth about it. the Ocean X team dedicates everything they got to this.we are lucky that this guys stumbled upon this. they are honest folks and they wont give up.
I'd like to say I hope its alien in origin but realistically something like that usually gets discredit as something lame (see: weather balloon/pile of rocks) or covered up
Another "out of Place artifact" like the 'Antikythera mechanism' would be easier to reveal to the world. You'd only have to deal with annoying archaeologists & historians that like to keep their version of history secure in its unreality
Hmm ok. But yeah it is kind of obvious that it's not something from earth (to me)I really hope that some information will get public if they get them. I'm really curious >.< Well we'll have to wait then.
