Good God, I'd never seen anything like it! I was wondering what that thing was hanging suspended from the ceiling, and it may just be a cow's udder. I remember Baron Harkonnen as the chief commander of House Harkonnen and father of Lady Jessica, the Duke of House Atreides' concubine. Who knows, I might do my own Baron Harkonnen pic soon, but somewhat different from the David Lynch version. And yes, he will be obese and float around like a ghost.

Believe me the bok is really better than the movie of David Lynch who is for me his worst film.
But there are another version of Dune, for TV, who was great, with great actors from theatre, who play it very well.

You are quite welcome and thank you for the expanded visual!

Giedi Prime must have suffered a catastrophic mass extinction after the Harkonnen arrived. And I heard it's so polluted that only individuals with the toughest respiratory and other systems survive to adulthood (survival of the fittest.)

i unfortunately still did not come along to read that books ! :( when i did the illustration i made some research- happily the books are well documented in wikis... :D and yes , the harconnen totally destroyed that eco system- i think the slugs are some of the few organism that survive dispite of the toxic environment.to make it taste better they just combined it with an saluzan bull... :D
